โรงกลั่นน้ำมันเอสโซ่ศรีราชา ส่งพลังแรงใจเพื่อบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ สู้ภัยโควิด-19 ขอมอบชุด PPE ให้แก่โรงพยาบาลสมเด็จพระบรมราชเทวี ณ ศรีราชา
โรงกลั่นน้ำมันเอสโซ่ศรีราชา บริษัท เอสโซ่ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด (มหาชน) มอบชุดอุปกรณ์ป้องกันการติดเชื้อ หรือ PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) ให้แก่โรงพยาบาลสมเด็จพระบรมราชเทวี ณ ศรีราชา เพื่อสนับสนุนการทำงานของบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ในการรักษาผู้ป่วยจากโรคติดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนา (โควิด-19)ในโอกาสนี้ คุณสุชาติ โพธิ์วัฒนะเสถียร (ที่ 3 จากซ้ายมือ) กรรมการและผู้จัดการ โรงกลั่น บริษัท เอสโซ่ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด (มหาชน) ได้มอบอุปกรณ์ PPE ดังกล่าว ให้แก่ น.พ. สมเกียรติ บวรเสรีผไท (ที่ 3 จากขวามือ) รองผู้อำนวยการ โรงพยาบาลสมเด็จพระบรมราชเทวี ณ ศรีราชา
“เราขอร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งที่จะช่วยกันฝ่าฟันวิกฤตการณ์โรคโควิด-19 นี้ไปด้วยกัน เราขอขอบคุณบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ที่ทำงานอย่างหนักเพื่อช่วยเหลือดูแลป้องกันการระบาดของโรคโควิด-19 อย่างเต็มที่ พวกเรามีความห่วงใยและขอเป็นกำลังใจ ด้วยการมอบอุปกรณ์ PPE นี้ เพื่อความปลอดภัยในระหว่างการทำงานดูแลรักษาผู้ป่วย ซึ่งสำหรับที่เอสโซ่เอง เราให้ความสำคัญในเรื่องของความปลอดภัยในการทำงานเป็นอย่างยิ่ง ในโอกาสนี้ เราขอร่วมสนับสนุนเพื่อให้คณะแพทย์และพยาบาลที่เป็นด่านหน้าสามารถทำงานได้อย่างปลอดภัย ในช่วงเวลาแห่งความวิกฤตนี้ด้วยเช่นเดียวกัน”
คุณสุชาติกล่าว ในขณะที่สถานการณ์ของการแพร่ระบาดของไวรัสโควิด-19 ยังคงมีอยู่อย่างต่อเนื่อง และประเทศไทยคงมีผู้ติดเชื้อในหลายพื้นที่ รวมถึงที่จังหวัดชลบุรีด้วยนั้น ทางโรงกลั่นน้ำมันเอสโซ่ได้ทราบถึงความจำเป็นที่จะต้องการใช้ PPE จึงได้นำมามอบให้กับทางโรงพยาบาลในครั้งนี้ และที่ผ่านมา เราก็ได้มีการประสานร่วมมือกันในด้านต่างๆอย่างต่อเนื่องมาโดยตลอด

Esso’s Sriracha Refinery Donates PPE to Queen Savang Vadhana Memorial HospitalCHONBURI, Thailand – The Esso (Thailand) Public Company refinery in Sriracha today contributed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the Queen Savang Vadhana Memorial Hospital for use by medical professionals working with COVID-19 patients.
Mr. Suchart Phowatthanasathian (3rd from Left), Director and Refinery Manager of Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited presented the PPE to Dr. Somkiat Bawornseripathai (3rd from Right), Deputy Director of Queen Savang Vadhana Memorial Hospital on this occasion.
“We are all in this together, and this is just one small way we can play a part in the effort against COVID-19,” said Suchart. “Our hearts are filled with gratitude for the medical staff that is working hard during long hours to provide care. This PPE is our way of showing appreciation for them while helping them work safely. Our company puts the highest value on safety, so medical staff having the right PPE is critical – especially during their fight with this pandemic.”
Chonburi is one of the provinces having significant cases during the ongoing COVID-19 situation as the number of confirmed cases in Thailand continues to increase. The Esso refinery became aware of the need for the PPE based on the long-standing relationship with the hospital and other medical providers in the area. In the past, the refinery has supported various charitable events with the hospital as part of its ongoing community support and engagement programs.
